Que gran forma de terminar una semana, nos han confirmado una muy buena noticia para los residentes en España, ¡Sling Box llega a nuestro país! ¿Qué es Sling Box? Se trata de un pequeño aparato que conecta todos tus equipos de vídeo y audio que normalmente puedes tener en tu salón y te da acceso a ellos vía internet, es decir, puedes acceder a tu reproductor de DVD o Blu-ray, a tu grabador o a tu sintonziador de cable o TDT directamente desde tu portátil en cualquier lugar del mundo.

SlingBox se lanzó el 1 de Julio de 2005 en EE.UU., pero hasta ahora en Europa era Reino Unido, Dinamarca, Finalndia, Irlanda, Holanda, Noruega, Islandia y Suecia los únicos países donde se comercializaban, evidentemente países con un nivel _ techy_ mucho más alto que en España.

Existen varios modelos, SlingBox AV, SlingBox Solo (en la imagen de arriba) y SlingBox Pro que te permite conectar dispositivos de alta definición y con su propio sintonizador de cable.

No nos han confirmado los precios, solo que estará disponible a finales de este mes de Septiembre.

Existen reproductor para Windows, Mac y para terminales como BlackBerry o Windows Mobile… A si que no hay que preocuparse mucho por donde verlo si no cuando verlo.

Hace más de dos años que hablamos de Slingbox en este blog: en el PC, en Mac, en el móvil…

La gran noticia: llega al fin a España este mismo mes de septiembre, con versión de alta definición.


Falta confirmar el precio, que en EEUU ronda los 200 $.

Slingbox es un simple que hace de puente: recibe la señal de la TV y la entrega al router, que la hace llegar a cualquier terminal de la red casera: un teléfono móvil con wifi (mediante el software Sling Player Mobile) o el clásico PC con tarjeta de red.

Es más: te permite acceder a tu red desde el exterior a través de Internet.

Si os contamos de primera mano que SlingBox se pondría a la venta en España, os completamos la información. Por una parte en España sólo se van a poner a la venta SlingBox Solo (el de la imagen) que costará 199 euros y SlingBox Pro que costará 299 euros.

También se pondrá a la venta el SlingLink, un adaptador de red que crea una red local vía la red eléctrica, este accesorio costará 99 euros.

Todos coneceréis a los famosos Slingbox, que te permiten ver tus programas de televisión favoritos, vía streaming, desde cualquier parte del mundo. Pues bien, hoy se ha presentado la versión en HD del aparatito. Cuenta con sintonizadores ATSC y ClearQAM pudiendo retransmitir emisiones en Alta Definición (tanto 720p como 1080i) de cable, satélite o terrestre.

Aunque se le supone soporte tanto para Windows como para Mac, por el momento el streaming sólo es soportado en la versión Windows. Al parecer, sacarán en fechas próximas, un patch para Mac. Saldrá a la venta en octubre por unos 300$.
