SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — KIPA(director: Youngmin Yoo) announced that the GNGWC 2008 will be starting with local final contests in Europe(Leipzig, Germany) in August.

The international game contest, GNGWC, sponsored by KIPA, has been held for 3 years for the purpose of globalization of Korean online games.

In this year, 4 Korean games, including ShotOnline(by OnNet), Atlantica(by NDoors), SilkroadOnline(by JoyMax), and Navy Field(by SDEnternet), have been chosen for official games. The online preliminary contests will start in July, the local final contests will be in 6 countries all around the world, and the final match will be in Korea in November.

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- KIPA(director: Youngmin Yoo) announced that the GNGWC 2008 will be starting with local final contests in Europe(Leipzig, Germany) in August.





The international game contest, GNGWC, sponsored by KIPA, has been held for 3 years for the purpose of globalization of Korean online games.

Berlin, Germany - Berlin based nova media updated ‘Phone plugins’ to version 2.1 today. Phone plugins is a utility to quick-dial a selected number and quick-send a text message with one click from any program in Mac OS X Leopard. Version 2.1 now offers context menu support for most applications and compatibility with more than 165 cell phones.

Phone plugins from nova media revives a long lost function in Mac OS X. Back in 10.4 it was possible to dial a number and send a text message from the Address Book using a cell phone connected over bluetooth. Using Phone plugins, this option is available again for Mac OS X 10.5 and many cell phones from Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.

“Version 2.1 now displays a confirmation if a text message has been sent successfully.” states Jan Fuellemann, PR spokesperson at nova media. “And we added support for additional 14 cell phones from Nokia and Sony Ericsson.”

Phone plugins includes its own Bluetooth wizard to connect a cell phone to the Mac in one convenient step. The software can be used immediately after the pairing with no need to restart the Mac.

It is suffcient to select any number and choose ‘Dial number’ or ‘Send text message’ within Address Book or within any other Mac OS X-compatible application by using the ‘Services’ menu. Phone plugins will either have the cell phone issue a call and bring up a status window on the screen or open a text message window on the screen accordingly.

If the selected number is known to Address Book, Phone plugins will display the appropriate name in the new call window or text message window automatically.

Pricing and Availability:


Phone plugins is available today for $9.95 USD (Euro 9,95) plus VAT if applicable on nova media’s website. A demo version is provided as well. The update to version 2.1 is free for current owners of a Phone plugins 2.0 license. Phone plugins requires Mac OS X 10.5.2 or higher and a compatible cell phone from Motorola, Nokia, Samsung or Sony Ericsson.

Jorge Pérez cerró con los capitanes el acuerdo para las primas de la Eurocopa el pasado mes de marzo en la víspera del partido ante Italia que se disputó en Elche. El acuerdo fue rápido y las dos partes pactaron un aumento del diez por ciento con respecto a la Eurocopa de 2004 celebrada en Portugal.

El pacto entre las dos partes era arriesgado, ya que en caso de no llegar a los cuartos de final, los jugadores no recibirían cantidad alguna. Con el pase a la final ya se han asegurado 120.000 euros por cabeza. El cuerpo técnico tiene idéntica prima.

Fone2Phone is a sleek migration utility for the iPhone and compatible to many cell phones from Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.
