• Inmediatamente después de Iron Man,esta película es producción directa de la Marvel.Para Iron Man,eso significó un meticuloso apego a la obra la marca original.Para Hulk,también...pero en mayor medida,significa que la Marvel más bien ya pepenó una fórmula estable,y las películas sucesivas basadas en sus dibujitos serán por el mismo tono —lo cual augura que serán espectulares pero genéricas y predecibles:actor dramático en el rol central,actriz derrama-rostro como comparsa,actor calado en el rol de villano,cameos de Stan Lee y/o elementos icónicos del mono (temas musicales y referencias a adaptaciones previas) y director lo bastante anónimo para que su nombre no se imponga sobre el de la franquicia y la identifique como su versión personal y no la de la compañía.Lo cual significa que las películas venideras complacerán al público cautivo de la Marvel (la fanboyada),y entretendrán al resto de la raza a secas.Sin prácticamente nada de aportaciones creativas alternas,lo cual no deja de desmerecer un poco el sentido de hacer una obra creativa en un medio y técnica distinto —sacre,que el cine y el comic tienen sus coincidencias,pero ultimadamente son cosas y lenguajes completamente distintos entre sí.
  
• El apego a los comics originales:el guión no está basado en ninguna trama en particular,aunque retoma viñetas sueltas (sentido narrativo,no gráfico) del Hulk presentado en el título The Ultimates y la etapa de Bruce Jones en la serie regular (Incredible Hulk Vol. II #34-76).Visualmente,el film retoma elementos de The Ultimates,con el diseño del Hulk basado en dibujos de Dale Keown.De a'i en fuera,el mayor apego fue hacia la serie de TV de los 70's-80's,que pese a ser una adaptación libre de los comics,sigue siendo la versión más icónica,y punto de referencia obligatorio (dicho sea de paso,aunque la idea de tirar a Bruce Banner desde un helicóptero se usó prominentemente en los comics de los Ultimates,en realidad es un guiño a la serie de TV,cuyo cierre fue la muerte de Hulk,precisamente por una caída desde un helicóptero —cosa que sobra decir,le sacó roña a más de un nerd,y de ahí que se insista en revindicar esa idea equiparando la caída con el lanzamiento de una bomba humana).
  
• La película formalmente es una secuela a la versión de Ang Lee del 2003.Pero no hay ninguna mención a la misma,de tal modo que los flashbacks incluídos hacen referencia a una trama virtualmente distinta —lo cual indica que en lo que a adaptaciones de comic a cine implica,se ha introducido oficialmente el recurso del retcon (ojo:el recurso ya existía en el cine,a lo que me refiero más bien,es al estilo a como se le aplica en los comics,donde más que para justificar un cambio de reparto o guionistas,es usado para reestructurar por completo el rumbo de una trama seriada).
  
• Hablando de adaptar la narrativa/lenguaje del comic al cine,algo que se le reprobó mucho a Ang Lee en su versión,fue la idea de tratar de traducir literalmente la composición de imágenes en páneles.En la nueva versión,otra vez hay traducción literal de lenguaje del comic,aunque ahora fue por el lado de las reglas narrativas de los comics de superhéroes.Aparte de referencias inter-películas e inter-franquicias (que si industrias Stark,que si SHIELD,que si Tony Stark,que si el suero del supersoldado),está la deliberada introducción de cameos y viñetas que ya no sólo dan pie a posibles secuelas,sino posibles continuaciones en otras películas —a saberse,los films de Iron Man II y Thor salen en 2010,Captain America (The First Avenger) en el 2011,y finalmente The Avengers en ese mismo año.Supongo los fanboys estarán ya salicando como perritos de Pavlov desde ya,pero témome que al espectador casual que quiera ver The Avengers no le va a caer mucho en gracia saber que tiene que chutarse otras 4 películas aparte para encontrarle sentido a la trama —a menos claro,que todas las referencias que han ido metiendo entrelíneas y como epílogos o escenas bonus post-créditos,se incluyan en un flashbacksote metido con calzador,para ya irse directo con los Avengers peleando contra el Dr. Doom,Thanos o Onslaught o algo así (si se mantiene ese rumbo,no duden que para el 2020 se anuncie Secret Wars:The Movie)

With the introduction of the AppStore, Apple will be providing exposure for thousand of small iPhone developers, for their products and services while at the same time being the regulator of the quality of what is offered.

This situation will bring us more professional and well designed softwares and a richer user experience, but this could put a stop to hobbyist iphone developers that may not qualify to Apple Standards but have a good solution in their hands or any adult content creators that are out automatically because of the rejection.

Apple must guarantee that the end judgements are made by the user, providing the platform and the tools for users to give qualification to any iphone or ipod touch solution. It won’t be nice to have your program rejected because it doesn’t meet Apple Standard, without having the chance of being evaluated by the public. This could turn Apple into the iPhone Big Brother, who determines what is and what is not interesting for the end user.

Apple is smart enough and I bet that this situation will be iron out before the Appstore hits the mainstream, giving the opportunity to thousands of hobbyist developers, that are the real motor behind the iPhone success, there is not a major application that had have the same level of aceptation of those games emulation hacks, nor any major software company that can compete with speed and commitment of those underground developers that have spent hours doing research to bring us the most crazy application ideas without the SDK, what made the development even harder for everybody.

Apple could provide a Red Sticker Section for all those hacks and mature audicence content with a Non Programmer Left Behind, that guarantees exposure to everybody.

It is understandable that Apple guarantees and protects the user experience blocking malicious applications providing a signature for each solution, but it won’t be possible for any games emulator or any other hack to be at the AppStore because the violate some copyrights and you know what, in some form, emulation is what is driving a big chunk of iPhone users.

• Siguiendo la tendencia de basarse no en conceptos sino tramas de comics en particular,la película retoma elementos de las novelas gráficas Legends Of The Dark Knight:Hallow'n Special #1 y Special #3,y Batman:The Long Halloween de Jeph Loeb y Tim Sale —esta última siendo de hecho,una secuela inmediata y extraoficial de Batman:Year One de Frank Miller,la cual de hecho sirvió de base para la película anterior,por no olvidar que Miller fue quien popularizó el adjetivo/slogan de The Dark Knight™ por vía de seguro ya-saben-cuál sobada novela gráfica de los 80's.Predeciblemente,también hay elementos pepenados de Batman:The Killing Joke de Alan Moore y Brian Bolland —específicamente,el discurso de el Joker de que cualquier ciudadano común tiene el potencial suficiente de corromperse y volverse un criminal.Es importante señalar en todo caso,que si la adaptación desde los comics no se nota tanto,es por que Christopher Nolan tiene un estilo no literal sino hiperrealista,o quizá mejor dicho,dogmático...pero eso ya estaba visto desde la película anterior.
  
• Mucho se ha dicho ya respecto al personaje de el Joker de Ledger.Al respecto,es irónico que pese al tagline de «Why So Serious?»,el Joker de Ledger es el que menos se ha reído a cuadro,a comparación de las interpretaciones de Cesar Romero,Jack Nicholson y Mark Hamill.Ésto se debe a que el Joker de Ledger,en nombre del estilo hiperrealista,no es planteado como un psicópata sino como un sociópata.En su versión original de los comics (y cuando está en manos de un buen guionista,por supuesto),el Joker se supone que es siempre un comediante,un artista escénico cuya motivación es la de convertir al crimen en un espectáculo teatral u operístico —de tono circense y con mucho humor negro,sobra decir.El Joker en ese sentido es el arquetivo del máximo extrovertido,un exhibicionista que no sólo desea matar gente,sino que desea que los demás —su audiencia— se rían de sus payasadas macabras.El Joker de Nolan-Ledger por el contrario,al ser un sociópata,la sociedad le vale un soberano cacahuate como audiencia,y en consecuencia su sentido del humor es personal e introvertido.
  
• Normalmente una caracterización tan diferente de la original,provoca que la fanboyiza se rasgue de inmediato las vestiduras y la piel por la "falta de respeto" (sic) a la fuente autoral.En este caso no ha sido así,ya que el planteamiento del personaje encaja en el discurso de la película,el cual es el continuo contraste de polos opuestos;el modo en que éstos dependen mutuamente de sí mismos;y el modo en que cuando se llevan a sus extremos más radicales,se convierten en la misma cosa —venga,a lo largo de la película,muchos parlamentos son repetidos una y otra vez por distintos personajes con intenciones distintas.Volviendo al Joker como sádico introvertido y humilde (otro contraste con los Jokers previos:no usa armas personalizadas sino implementos baratos),contrasta con el Batman sádico público y despilfarrador...por que,okey,muy justiciero y la manga del muerto,pero bien que le rompe las piernas a al mafioso Maroni,y bien que se suena al Joker durante su interrogatorio,cual vil judicial trasnochado.
  Ésto demuestra la regla de oro de la narrativa,de que no hay malos personajes sino malos manejos y planteamientos.Y que donde manda planteamiento bien contextualizado,no gobierna necedad de apego verbatim a versiones previas.
  
• Pese a los aciertos narrativos de la película,la cadencia se siente medio machucada.Podría atribuirse como algo intencional,en el sentido de que es el algo con el fin de mantener una sensación de intensidad.Más bien lo que parece es que la película fue editada a mordiscos,pero eso no es raro ya en estos tiempos:pese a ser una película bastante larga,se rumora que la versión final era originalmente de al menos 3 horas y media...que ni a quién le apura,seguro así será para la obligatoria maniobra para garantizar la venta de DVDs.Como quiera que sea,es importante notar un último detalle:varias escenas fueron filmadas directamente en formato IMAX™.Ésto no es nada raro,pues desde ya hace unos años,muchos blockbusters se estrenan también en IMAX™,pero alterando digitalmente la imagen,lo que no siempre saca ventaja del formato más grande.El uso de la tecnología IMAX™ desde un inicio garantiza sacar mayor provecho del formato,el cual ante todo,está pensado para ofrecer un espectáculo grandilocuente.Y nada,que un detalle tan simple como ése,le devuelve al medio del cine parte de su valor como experiencia de entretenimiento.Lo cual es lógico,considerando la competencia que representan los DVDs —legales y pirata— y las descargas online.Es algo que muchos creativos y productores no siempre captan:las cualidades técnicas o artísticas de una obra cuentan,sí,pero la audiencia muchas veces no disfruta la pura obra nomás,sino la experiencia completa de ir a conseguirla y disfrutarla en un entorno ideal.La experiencia es parte de la obra misma,y nunca hay que descuidar ese aspecto a riesgo de que las obras pierdan paulatinamente su atractivo y se vuelvan poco satisfactorias...o qué,¿No es curioso cómo la raza en general prefiere ver una película de superhéroes en vez de buscar alguno de los comics originales?

HP intends to have a notebook with a touchscreen display on the market within the next 18 months, the company has told the Wall Street Journal. The company was one of the first to introduce a mainstream, touchscreen desktop in the TouchSmart series but now says that it sees enough interest in the format to be one of the first with a portable PC offering a heavily touch-driven interface. The company has already introduced a tablet PC for the mainstream through the tx series but still depends on a stylus inside a conventional interface and would like to change the interface to a more natural one for future device

Can Amazon’s Kindle electronic book reader ever make the mainstream?

Amazon’s shareholders will hope so - its stock rose 8% yesterday off the back of an estimate by Citigroup analyst Mark Mahoney, who said sales will reach 380,000 by the end of this year. That’s up from the original forecast of 190,000 and, though dwarfed by mobile and games console sales, is a very respectable figure for a relatively niche, high-end product. Similar in proposition, in fact, to the iPod, which debuted with similar figures.
