MSNBC talking head Keith Olbermann isn't just a blowhard, he's a hypocrite. After USA Today columnist Lorrie Lynch criticized CNBC anchor Erin Burnett for refusing to do an interview without her flack present, Olbermann named Lynch the "Worst Person in the World" on his nightly show, stating that all public figures are interviewed with "press handlers." Responding this week on her daily "Who's News" blog, Lynch points out that in 2005, Olbermann himself gave her "a lovely interview that was completely handler-free." Lynch told Page Six, "I sent Keith an e-mail to thank him for the mention; I haven't heard back."

Un francés, un ingés y un sueco. Suena a comienzo de chiste pero son las nacionalidades de Romain Descampe, Matthew Irons y Egil ''Ziggy'' Franzen respectivamente, los integrantes de Puggy, una de las bandas que más me ha asombrado en mi vida. Con una guitarra clásica, bajo y batería, sus canciones son ricas, variadas y de muy diversas influencias: pop, funk, soul, clásico, ska, rock e incluso música árabe, todo esto con una calidad fuera de toda duda, cada uno de los integrantes tocan su instrumento de forma sobresaliente.

Estan afincados en Bruselas y son muy mínimamente conocidos por haber sido teloneros de la última gira europea de Incubus. Fui a verlos a Barcelona en la Razzmatazz, no tenía ni idea de quienes eran los teloneros, y que sorpresa me llevé con ellos. Solo tienen un disco editado, titulado Dubois died today , que contiene 14 canciones sin desperdicio. Seguramente tendréis que encargarlo en vuestra tienda habitual porque a España no ha llegado todavía. También podeis descargarlo de iTunes, y por programas P2P yo por lo menos no lo he encontrado.

A los interesados aquí os dejo su myspace, su web oficial y un vídeo con un directo buenísimo que hicieron en el FIB 2006.

Desde aquí mando mis mejores deseos a Puggy, un grupo de calidad al que les falta un emujoncito en su carrera para llegar a ser conocidos a nivel mundial, si queda algo de justicia en el mundo, el éxito les acabará llegando. Espero que os gusten.
